Circle City Sprint Adventure Race Recap

GlobalX Racing held the inaugural Circle City Sprint Adventure Race on August 16, 2003. Racers awoke to sunshine, heat and humidity. The temperature would climb into the 90s with 90+% humidity. The word was we would be racing four to six hours and would be covering about 30 miles. We arrived at the University Park Transition Area in downtown Indy, set up our gear and headed to the stunningly beautiful World War Memorial auditorium for the pre-race meeting.

PA02 (Planet Adventure 2002) Race Summary

Because of the sacrifice and support of many people, Team Ragged Glory officially finished Planet Adventure 2002 in about 25 hours. We thank the Lord for His grace, our loved ones for their help and sacrifices of time, Bob for excellent crew support, and Greg and all the volunteers that transformed PA02 from a concept to reality.

2001 Indy Sprint Adventure Race

2001 Indy Sprint Adventure Race!

Saturday, September 8 began as a windy, humid and cool day for the second annual Eagle Creek Sprint Adventure Race. The venue, Eagle Creek Park, is the largest metropolitan park in the United States. Team Ragged Glory was entered in the long course event. We arrived with the other teams at 7am to get maps and attend the pre-race meeting. After copying the course down, we readied our gear and made plans for the forty plus miles we would need to cover.

2001 Galyan’s 30 Hour Challenge Race Summary – the first Planet Adventure

Team Ragged Glory raced for 17 hours before bowing out because of check point cutoffs, fatigue and foot problems. Although we did not finish, we raced respectably and are proud of our accomplishment. Official results are at planetadventure.homestead.com.
